ATTENTION KOREAN WAR VETERANS:
A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR GRANDCHILDREN

photo of woman standing next to american flag in cemeteryThe Korean War Veterans Association (KWVA) will be sponsoring a trip to Korea for veterans’ grandchildren (college-age only) from June 23 to 30, 2017. This “Peace Camp for Youth” (PCFY) is being hosted by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, Republic of Korea. The Ministry will pick up all hotel, meal, and incidental expenses in Korea, as well as 50% of the round-trip air fare cost. Your only cost will be the remaining 50% of the air fare.

PCFY attracts youths and veterans from all 21 countries that were part of the UN commitment during the war as well as South Koreans. This will be a memorable cross-cultural exchange.

You can view photos from last year’s Peace Camp for Youth on the Military Historical Tours Facebook page. More information on the event, and a registration form, are available on the Peace Camp for Youth website.

Time is tight, and the limited number of openings still available are being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to take advantage of this special opportunity.
